EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ CHARACTER
- Must have skills in public relations which demands an excellent command of English and/or German language;
- Must have minimum two (2) years vessel experience;
- Must have typing skills;
- Must have Computer skills: iOS, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, Fidelio Cruise (or similar ship management software), Stock Control System;
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and passengers;
- Should be reliable and able to work unsupervised;
- Must be able to work flexible time schedule and to the Company’s standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be friendly to passengers and crew as well as focused on job tasks;
- Carry out hourly safety inspections to specific check points as outlined in the Hotel Management Manual;
- Report all unusual matters;
- Be available on switchboards when at front office desk/ vessel’s reception;
- Assist Front Office personnel in guests’ administration;
- Assist with check-in/ check-out during the unusual hours;
- Assist Restaurant in preparation of breakfast set-up during early morning hours;
- Assist Laundry in filling washing machines and tumblers;
- Be aware and follow security/fire/safety procedures according to the Vessel’s standards and regulations;
- Follow the uniform dress code at all times whilst on duty and act in a responsible and professional manner;
- Report/forward all matters to Hotel Manager and/or Captain.
